I feel the need to make a centralized list of my favorite websites and this would be the best place to do that. I do have a del.icio.us bookmarlets account but it seems so cumbersome. So I will begin the list:

Wednesday the 29th

So it's almost the end of August... Summer will soon end and the snow will be back in Michigan.
I think that it gets harder and harder for me to tolerate the winter every year. Maybe I shouldn't complain too much since it's soo much colder in Minnesota or even Illinois during the winter. haha.

Well I saw Michael Moore's film Sicko last night and I have to say, it was very good. He really is a good film maker despite what your feelings are towards his political views. I think he lays the facts out and says look at what we Americans aren't doing to keep our politicians in check. Oh how life would be so different in this country if the government were afraid of the people. We'd actually get things done. I think we need a fresh face in the White House after 8 long years of repression and excess. We need someone who's new to the whole scene of politics and can work for the hard working Americans that keep this country afloat, rather than the lobbyists who give the most money. It would turn our political system on its ass, but I really think it's vital for this country to gain back it's integrity.

Speaking of integrity, what the heck is the problem with people like Larry Craig? So you claim you're a Republican and vote against any gay rights issue that happens to come before Congress but then lead a secret gay life. It's ridiculous. Almost the same issue with Mark Foley. I think that there needs to be a reckoning in this country that it's okay to be gay and that people don't have to hide anymore. Maybe one day the GOP could gain some integrity back by allowing people equal rights.
